I am Mary. I live in a nursing home because I have severe multiple sclerosis, (MS). I have been here for around 18 months. Before that I lived at home with my husband, Adrian. We have four grown up sons aged 27 – 36. We live in Cornwall.

Hi Mary, Jacob here. I’m enjoying having a bit of break from exam revision to read some of your pieces. They’re very amusing, I’m enjoying the descriptions about your boys, bringing back memories, I recall Oscar’s arm break, but didn’t know about the bungie jump, and Henry’s singing voice!?
I imagine you’re looking forward to the upcoming wedding, I met with Jack this week and he was talking about the interesting mix with the French family, hopefully not too much of a culture clash. I look forward to your next piece, and hope to see you soon in Cornwall. Lots of love, Jacob
