Dear Followers, Friends and Relations
I have been very moved, as I’m sure you have, by the plight of the refugees from Syria. This started me thinking about children in many difficult situations.
Classic FM, the radio programme that I like to listen to, had a “Make Some Noise Day” to raise funds for small charities for children, like Penhaligon’s Friends which helps bereaved children, and Jesse, providing music therapy for children with brain tumours, and helping children with other special needs. My interest in this comes from having a grandson and a nephew who have special needs.
The Classic FM project started on 8th October and I am collecting money in a box in my room. The amount is not important but if you would like to contribute please send a cheque to “Global’s Make Some Noise” at Classic FM, or online at the Classic FM website.
With love from Mary 15th October 2015
